Why Harley: Sam Reeder ‘19

Bookmark and Share

Switching from public school to Harley in Grade 7, Sam Reeder '19 found the opportunity for more hands-on, experiential learning, and the latitude and support to explore diverse passions. Besides composing pieces for the Harley jazz band and creating bioreactors in Algae Club, he balances a challenging academic schedule and runs on the HAC cross country team.

Sue Reeder, Sam's mom, appreciates Harley's emphasis on independent thinking and creative problem solving. "This is what our kids are going to need to do, far beyond even a college education."
