Thank you all for supporting the Harley Hoedown at the Memorial Art Gallery on April 10, 2010. Over 230 people came to the event dressed in all sorts of Western garb. They dined on pulled pork sliders and quesadillas and brisket and cornbread and more great food from Max’s. Guests bid on live and silent items that ran the gamut - $5 tooled leather key chains up to a 4 night stay in a dude ranch in Wyoming and a beautiful metal heart crafted with the help of parent, Tim Wainwright. Music was provided throughout the evening by former parent, Bruce Brown, and his WildRoot String Band and also by Jim Kimball and the Geneseo String Band. No one went to jail and no one got shot so it was a great evening. CHECK OUT THE PHOTOS AT news and events/multi media gallery.
In the end, it was all about Horizons and Harley scholarships – we netted almost $74,000! Thank you all for your part in making this happen.
Winner of the 50/50 raffle was Cindy Harrell who works in the Harley Business Office!
CONGRATULATIONS CINDY!!!
