Meet with Us, then Enjoy a Tour

Kirsten Allen Reader, our Director of Enrollment & Financial Aid, and Amanda Patterson, our Associate Director of Enrollment, welcome the opportunity to speak directly with you and share information about our program. We can meet with you virtually via Google Meet, show you pictures of our school, and answer your questions.

After you have attended an Enrollment event or an individual Google Meet, we would love to show you our campus.

Virtual Information Sessions

We are excited to invite you to our casual “Inside Look: Information Sessions” held on Wednesdays during the school year from 12–1 highlighting a different division each time. There will be an opportunity to discuss the application process, financial aid, and answer any questions you may have.

See the full Information Session schedule HERE.

On Campus Open Houses

An on-campus Open House is a great way to learn about The Harley School.  Please join us to hear about Harley’s unique philosophy and enriching education.  Our three division heads along with current parents and our enrollment team will be here to welcome you.  Your visit will include a short presentation as well as a tour of our beautiful campus where you will be able to meet some of our talented faculty and ask questions about our program. In addition, we will provide details about the application process as well as information on financial aid.

Open Houses will return in the 2023-24 school year.

Students may create independent studies with supervising teachers throughout their Upper School experience or, during Grade 12, they can design Capstone projects—intensive collaborations with Harley faculty and off-campus mentors—involving rigorous academic study and culminating in public presentations. They are empowered to create their own curriculum, set goals, and work on time management skills in order to accomplish their objectives.

Independent Studies run the gamut from The Psychology of Sports to Furniture Design to The Neuroimaging of Alzheimer’s Disease. Capstones, meanwhile, are as diverse as the students who pursue them: Fictional Rochester, Autobiographical Art, Biomimicry Education, Organic Fuel, and Rochester Refugees.

Indicative of Upper School curiosity and creativity, pursuits such as these distinguish our graduates in college. Through deep dives of this sort, Harley students master more than speaking, writing, and computing: they learn to communicate, advocate, collaborate, organize, listen, and empathize.
