Ways to Give

At Harley, learning is rooted in curiosity, connection, and care. Philanthropic support sustains the people and experiences that define our school—from dedicated teachers and dynamic programs to an environment where every student feels known, supported, and inspired.
Right now, your generosity goes twice as far. Through the Sands Family Foundation challenge, eligible gifts to the Harley Fund are matched—amplifying your impact and helping us invest in what matters most. Learn more about the Sands Family Foundation Match.

Donating appreciated securities may provide meaningful tax benefits while making a significant impact at The Harley School. We encourage you to consult your financial advisor to determine how this type of gift may support your philanthropic and financial goals.
To initiate a transfer, please let our Development Team know, or contact our broker at Morgan Stanley, Sherie Connorton, who would be happy to assist you. She can be reached at Sherie.A.Connorton@morganstanley.com or (585) 385-5168.
Making a gift through your donor-advised fund (DAF) is an easy and tax-efficient way to support The Harley School. Reach out to us at development@harleyschool.org to learn more.
If you are a U.S. taxpayer age 70½ or older, you may be able to make a gift directly from your IRA to The Harley School through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). These gifts can satisfy all or part of your required minimum distribution (RMD) and may be excluded from your adjusted gross income.
Distributions must be made directly from your IRA administrator to The Harley School. The current maximum eligible amount is $100,000 per individual per calendar year. Please share Harley’s Federal Tax ID number with your advisor: 16-0755783.
For more information, please contact the Development Office at development@harleyschool.org and consult your financial or tax advisor regarding your individual circumstances.
Because IRA administrators and brokers do not always include donor names on transfers, we encourage you to let us know when you initiate a gift and share any designation details so we can properly acknowledge and recognize your support.
Honor and memorial gifts are a meaningful way to celebrate someone who has made a difference in your life or to remember a loved one. Many members of the Harley community choose to make a tribute gift to honor a beloved teacher, celebrate a classmate, or recognize someone whose presence has shaped their Harley experience.
These gifts reflect the spirit of connection and care that defines The Harley School while creating lasting impact for students, teachers, and programs. Whether marking a milestone, honoring a cherished relationship, or remembering someone special, your tribute helps strengthen the everyday experiences that make Harley such a meaningful place to learn and grow.
